SUMMARY:“Return to the Rainbow City" Tour
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a tour of our new Pan-American Exposition inside the Museum’s State Court.  “Return to the Rainbow City: Buffalo’s Pan-American Exposition\,” recounts the story of the fair—its planning\, construction\, and legacy—and features a variety of Pan-Am artifacts\, paintings\, and photographs. The display includes nearly 100 Pan-Am keepsakes – from cups and mugs to paperweights and playing cards – that souvenir manufacturers created for the fair. Learn about the exhibits\, the shows\, and the people that drew 8 million visitors to our city.  Investigate the attractions and turn-of-the-century innovations that still impact Buffalo today. \nThe tour lasts one hour\, costs $13 ($7 for members) and includes a souvenir map guide. \nThe tour begins promptly at 12PM. The CMC’s legendary Sunday jam sessions\, a staple of Buffalo’s music scene since 1935\, have moved to The Buffalo History Museum while the historic club undergoes an expansion.
